The challenge
This sizzle reel had a distinct tone and clear directions for both the visuals and the music. The goal was to highlight how Sam Wilson, as the new Captain America, would navigate a world full of challenges and red tape to truly earn the mantle. All of this while standing in the shadow of one of the greatest heroes in history.
The approach
The visual approach required extensive discussion, with many ideas ultimately being scrapped. Time constraints further limited our options, so we focused on portraying Sam’s struggles as they built up beneath the massive shadow that Steve Rogers left behind.
